THE AGREEMENT OF ESTABLISHMENT A YOUTH COALITION “NEW GENERATION”

On 5th December, 2009 the representatives of Belarusian Democratic Youth Organizations (9 entities) presented coalition agreement cooperation. The presentation took place at Ya. Kupala’s Public Garden on Saturday afternoon. From the very beginning the youth intended to have organized peculiar “Kupala readings” by the monument to the poet, but the police overlapped the entrance to the public garden and warned the youth about administrative responsibility for the unauthorized demonstration. We introduce the agreement of the coalition “New Generation”.

THE AGREEMENT OF ESTABLISHMENT A YOUTH COALITION “NEW GENERATION”

We, the representatives of youth forces of Belarus, making aware of our responsibility for the destiny of our Motherland, understand the necessity of our forces’ uniting in the struggle for spiritually-national revival of Belarus, on the basis of

- Christian values
- the national idea
- conservatism
- principles of social justice
- ideals of freedom, equal rights and person’s responsibility;

we claim about the creation for this reason of the youth coalition “New Generation”.

The activity of the entities of the youth coalition “New Generation” will go for the following:
- advocacy of Belarus’s independence
- protection and development of Belarusian culture
- discharge of political criminals and stoppage of political repressions
- denouncement of the criminal communistic ideology and the policy of the soviet ethnocide of Belarus
- Belarus’s eurointergration assistance
- substitution of authoritarian regime for democratic one in Belarus.

By a joint effort of the entities of the “New Generation” we will do the collateral:
- agitation and mobilization campaigns devoted to the advocacy of our vote during local, parliament and presidential elections
- moves and campaigns in defence of Belarus’s freedom
- campaigns directed to the development of the Belarusian language and culture
- campaigns of “solidarity” with political elements, lost politicians and their families, all the victims of political repressions in Belarus
- campaigns devoted to the denouncement of the antihuman communism ideology and other totalitarian ideologies
- other activities based on collateral values and to achieve common aims of the entities of the youth coalition “New Generation”.
